2015 Harris Edwardes Interclub Competition

The 2015 Harris Edwardes Interclub Competition was held at North Woodvale Primary School on Sunday 5th July and Sunday 12th July. Clubs were invited to enter one or more teams into each of A, B and C divisions. The format was such that players from each team could play up to 4 games, 2 on each day. The event proved popular this year -- 9 teams (4 players per team) participated: 3 of which were from Southern Suburbs Chess Club. In total there were 43 participants.

The time control was 60 minutes per player, plus an increment of 10 seconds per move.



A Division

The A Division was won by Southern Suburbs A: Tristan Boyd, Michael Horstmann, Tim Hare, Patrick Gong, Andrew Hardegen, Kathryn Hardegen and Akef Saleh.

B Division

The B Division (all players under 1850 ACF) was won by Southern Suburbs B: Kathryn Hardegen, Gavin Adam, Ignatius Yap, Colin Koehler, Ryan Sam, Sri Dharmapuri, George France and Dhruv Bhardwaj.

Southern Suburbs B won by 2.5 matches to 1.5.




C Division

The C Division (all players under 1500 ACF) was won by Perth C1. In 2nd place were the Southern Suburbs C team: Alan Fardoe, Andrey Lugovskoy, Aayush Bhardwaj, Kundan Dharmapuri and Andrew Walker.
