Southern Suburbs Junior Chess Club

Southern Suburbs Junior Chess Club (SSJCC) opened for the first time on 10th November 2015. The club is run under the auspices of SSCC. The club is aimed at children aged 6-17 who are new to chess and perhaps not yet motivated by the challenges of CAWA or SSCC tournaments. While SSJCC is aimed at beginning players, stronger and more experienced junior players are welcome to attend SSJCC as well as the adult club.

Attendance is free for players who are members of SSCC or SSJCC, and $5 per session for non-members.

The junior club sessions are coordinated by SSCC and are run by Simon Ayling, Brian Drake and Darrian Low.

The flyer below contains information about SSJCC. Please distribute this flyer to anyone you know who may be interested in attending the junior club.
